Both teams have been struggling lately. Longoria just hit the IL joining Casali, Estrada, and Gonzalez. Hopefully we can keep their struggles going and put an end to ours.

Their closer threw a lot of pitches last night allowed 1 hit 3 BBs and survived to get the SV so not sure he would be available tonight..not that it would matter I am calling a 6-1 victory tonight as the bats come alive and Musgrove is Musgrove...

We’ve got to take the first two…….surely we can win with Joe on the mound and Snell should be able to out duel whoever TBD is.😉

Great,we just ran ourselves out of another inning.
Would have had at least one of CJ doesn’t get picked off…..WTH are we doing?
Either we stand and look at fly ball doubles or we’re getting picked off?

Profar will probably be out for 7 days under concussion protocol.

Really hope Profar is ok, he took a heck of a shot to the jaw. He collapsed trying to walk off the field. Has to be a concussion. Time to bring up Ruiz and see what he can do. We will definitely miss our best outfielder. Take your time Jurickson and get healthy

Mus gets the W if CJ doesn't get caught stealing like a dumb rookie..2nd time now..should have won 2-1... we gave them a couple extra outs...SO and pass ball.. and the HBP foot BS in an 0-2 count...stop nibbling just attack...Garcia attacks ge does great he nibbles and walks or hbp everyone.. Which is what Rogers does as well....Padres BP is like # 2 in baseball in BA against...but we probably lead the league in Walks and hbp... Nut UP!
Crismatt should be in the AS game (I know RP who don't close games don't make it) ...he has been remarkable...Padres lead MLB with 12 extra inning games..and are 9-3...
Alfaro 3rd walk off... dude definetely has a future here in SD... El OSO 3rd arb should = 3 yr extension...
Profar probably going on IL til after AS game... ? Now do we bring Rooker (Big Power) and on 40 man... or add Ruiz to the 40 (requires a move) and bring Estury up... I am guessing Rooker up tomorrow

Yeh, I see Rooker called up if Profar goes on the 7 day concussion IL For 7 days the least disruption to the 40 man.
We may see some creativity in LF …. Rooker getting some time but see more playing time for Azocar and would not rule out Abrams and/or Batten getting reps in the OF. Sort of a mix and match patchwork.
Not expecting much from Rooker (if it is him) … big power if he makes contact but contact is an issue (high K%) in the minors. Looking at his 2022 stats … he is hitting well in home games (and EP is pro hitter) but falls way off away from EP.
