Padres vs Giants April 11-13

Reported as "right forearm tightness", which many of us know immediately precedes an MRI which then means TJ surgery. Hopefully, that is not the case this time but the way Adams walked off the mound it seemed like he knew it was very bad. Adams seemed to have taken steps to harness his control and was doing very well in last night's game so it would be a real shame for his season to end so soon. At his age, TJ. surgery could even be career threatening.
Padres will now have to either bring up another relief pitcher from El Paso (besides Garcia, who was going to come up anyway) or go with Knehr or newly acquired (again) Kyle Tyler as a long man because of the ineffectiveness of Darvish last night. Likely will not DFA Tyler again in order to bring up Higgins, Krol or Bergen from RP pool at El Paso, so likely go with Knehr and send Tyler back down to get some starts at EP. Should know later today.

Decent PA by Beaty to end the game ... he did swing at a slider in the dirt, but that was after lacing a ball just foul that got the juices flowing, I'm sure ...

Difference in opponents is apparent after the first two series of the season, and the reflection of the record. DBacks are bad, take 3 of 4, and SF is good, and lose 2 of 3. Although SD held tough in this game, could have gone either way. Another big test this weekend against ATL.
With that being said, the Pads are good, especially once the cold bats wake up. Maybe the regulars should have gotten a few more plate appearances in ST.
I agree with Lynch, Abrams doesnt look ready yet, looks overmatched by MLB pitching, as he did towards the end of ST. Needs to go down to AAA and work on a couple of things, and get some reps in the OF.
