Did not see it but since that was not the call on the field either the Padres did not see it that way or they were out of challenges (if that is a call that can be challenged).

Renfroe got caught watching the play instead of getting across the plate. The Umpire waved off the run as soon as the out at 2nd base was made on the tag. The Padres did in fact challenge the play and it was confirmed that Renfroe did not cross the plate before the tag was made on the back end of the double play. Had the runner stopped and got into a run down play the run would have counted

The umpires got it right and Renfroe got caught sleeping on the play.....plain and simple.....$50.00 fine in the kangaroo ( Club House) court

3 out of 4 from the Chumps to the north- I'll take it!

Kudos to our pitching staff- 9 runs over 4 games( really only 8 since Verdugo should have been out at 2nd).

Reyes wasn’t thinking either.

On a play like this he should slow up or even stop going to 2b.....giving the runner time to score from 3B.

Since I did not see that part of the game, its hard to say what Reyes saw. If Muncy fielded the ball real close to 1B, its possible that Reyes never knew the force was off. So then, how would he know not to go in hard. He does have his back to 1B. I know there are base coaches, but very difficult to hear the coach in LA Im sure.
