Padres vs Dodgers August 5-7

New line up, same results

Glad we traded away the farm so we could lose 8 to nothing

Not gonna win every game and certainly not against the best team in baseball in their house.

One thing about the dodgers they almost always get their hits and their pitchers don't normally implode...just consistent "solid" baseball.

You can't play poorly and still beat them.

Was a bad decision to play Drury at 3b as it turns out...but if you can't score it doesn't matter much.

If he makes both of those plays I'd guess we still lose 4-1

I knew it was a long shot beating them with Manaea. While the bad plays didn't help he still gave up a ton of hits.

What I couldn't believe about last night is how empty the stadium was for the Vin Scully tribute...it was 1/3 empty at least.......I mean really?

On the positive … Soto and Bell have delivered as advertised.

Soto … 4 for 11 with 2 BB .. OPS 1.098

Bell … 3 for 8 with 4 BB .. OPS .958

I can live with that for the rest of the season.

Drury not so much except for the 1st pitch grand slam.

Right on Mr. P!

That's why the Dodger organisation wins year after year, and produces their own players.

I'd like to see Seidler fill our organisation with LA'S castoffs.  Instead of spending 100's of millions on players, why not spend on a better front office?

Unfortunately most LAD castoffs are castoffs for a reason and don’t carry their LAD productivity to another organization,

LAD know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ’em.

Our best vs LAD is Snell. He owns the Blue and loves P at LA .. in a 5 game series he could P 2x in LA

Our team is just coming together . We still missing a key component.   In about a month the fellas should all be clicking... I like our chances... and Go's got hit pretty hard a couple of times..Jake had a Lazer f
Down the line that Freeman made a nice play on...and Alfaro hit an absolute Lazer down the 3rd base line that was about 2 feet shy of xbh (just foul)..also got the bats taken out of Manny Ball 4.. Kim and Batten on absolute 6inches off the plate outside balls...thats 3 gift outs (an entire inning worth of bs. ) we don't need to dwell too much on yesterday . We won't be running that lineup or defensive alignment at all in the postseason so i aint too worried about it.  MANAEA won't be SP any games in postseason either.

It's Go Time!...Braves getting destroyed (1st of 2) let's pick up 1.5 games today...Look up not down..#LFGSD

Suarez is back. Wilson got sent down and Wil is playing CF.

I get it putting all the RH bats in the lineup, But the fielding assignments seem dumb to me. I would have gone, Wil at DH, Drury in LF, and Profar in CF. Seems smarter with Myers knee not being great.
