The starters haven't been announced beyond today, but with Clev not making the trip I assume it will be Manaea, Musgrove and Martinez after Darvish.

I'd let Gore go on the 4th day.. no need to bring up nightmare start (Rockies) on top of Coors on the young man

Wouldn't be opposed to Cristmat (severe ground ball P) start game 1 vs Rockies on Friday with Martinez piggy backing him..

Why is it that we can hang the worst start of his season on Corbin Burnes, but the Justin Steele's of be the world seem to dominate us?

He is a lefty Nick Martinez.. dude is heart above stuff balls got lazered off of him right at players .. he did have a couple of clutch double plays and punch outs..very Nick like indeed... it be nice if our players took the same approach (as they did with Houser) and made the young man throw 20 + pitches per..but they tried to jump on him and made him breeze thru 5... Pitch count up is our friend (no matter who is on the mound boyz).Boyz.. a WIN and some timely hits ill take it

I’ve honestly been trying to figure out with the way this team can make pitchers work, and how guys throw less and less pitches per start, especially the younger ones, why they aren’t making the younger pitchers and pitchers that have been struggling throw more pitches.
The broadcast team even showed the number of innings thrown last series by starters after the starter got hit on the comeback in the first how much they needed innings from their starter. Game plan should have been make the pitcher work as much as possible. Obviously you want to jump on meat balls, but make the dude throw as much as possible
