Always seems like there’s that one guy doesn’t it?

Was always Blackmon…then it was Cron….now McMahon.

Ugh!

Yeah he certainly seems like he's turning into the next great Padres killer. They couldn't really pitch around him in that situation. It's just a little frustrating watching the same guy kill us with how bad most of their guys are.

Tatis still scuffling at the plate, yet still finding enough to drive in a few runs.

And nice to see Soto swinging the damn bat. Amazing how he's improved not hitting in the 2 hole. Still think he should be 4 ( and Manny 3)

If Barlow can just close out a 4+ run lead without turning it into a save for Hader he'll be worth it. Nice to get a win with Avila and Honeywell pitching the bulk of the innings. Avila has looked better than I expected him too in the few chances he's had. He was a little wild, but he's shown more velocity than I remembered him having. It might just be that he's able to go a little harder with the shorter outing and lighter workload. I'm starting to look at him in a little bit brighter light.

Soto was great and Jake has been on fire the last week or so. There might still be a little hope left.

Not great news. Hopefully it really is just a minor thing.

Oh no…here we go…

Should he return on Tuesday, he’ll have missed a single start.  That wouldn’t be too bad, I guess.

Should we start taking odds on whether Sanchez is here again next year?

Dude's outproduced Bogaerts in less than half the AB's? Certainly think he's earned himself a new deal.

Fernando joining in on the fun!

Fernando joining in on the fun!

That was Nando's career 100th HR!  Tatis, Jr. is now in 10th an our all-time HR list.  Tatis, Jr. becomes the 4th fastest all-time to 100 HRs (362 games), behind only Ryan Howard (325 games), Pete Alonso (347 games) and surprisingly Gary Sanchez (355 games).

If Manny hits 8 more HR this season, which would seem realistic, he would move up to the 5th spot in all-time homers, passing Mr. Padre Tony Gwynn's total of 135.

Nice bullpen game by the pitching staff, allowing only 1 run through 8 innings.  Let's hope Garcia can finish it off.  Go Pads!
