I love this guys approach in the box…pitch him in and he will turn on it…leave it middle third and he goes gap to gap and if it’s outer third he just takes it the other way. When a hitter can go foul line to foul line he becomes a nightmare for the opposing team. The best part is that he has a plan when he gets in the box…that’s the sign of a “hitter “ and not a “batter “…batters go up to the plate and hope they will put the bat on the ball and are saying…maybe, maybe, maybe…swing…a hitter goes up to the plate already with a plan and are saying…yes, yes, yes…no. There is a big difference in that approach and it’s just a mentality that separates “batters” from “hitters “…make no mistake about it…Jackson Merrill is a HITTER 👍⚾️

Padres are 4 games over.500 and win the series with the Red Sox and now onto Texas to play a Rangers team, that has been struggling and have lost Cory Seager for awhile , for a three game series  after an off day tomorrow before they come back home to face off against the D’Backs on Friday. Keep it rolling boys 👍
