Padres @ Cubs April 25-27

I'm hoping the trip to Mexico City helps loosen some of our guys up and gets them going. The atmosphere should be crazy. Maybe a different kind of baseball environment helps them out mentally.

I thought Tatis returning would make the biggest difference……it didn't

We as a group have said this in the past, this is Manny's team now. So as he goes, so does the team.

Once Machado warms up, the balance of the team will follow, and the offense should be good from there.

Maybe the warm weather and rowdy Latin crowd in Mexico will spice up our boys, and get them going.

We just went 4-3 on the road against 2 of the hottest teams in baseball..

Padres 8-6 in 2 road trips.. vs ATL/Mets/AZ and Cubs...all were leading their Divisions or in 2nd place..

AND we played them with an ICE cold team and not with our best (aka Joe and Tatis) fully back to their relative selfs/and or missing 7 of those games..

BTW Padres only team in the NL West with a winning road record at this moment

Also

0-2 March

13-12 April (chance to go 15-12.. )

With our schedule and our out of the gate struggles.. I'd take it

With that said SF for 2 /Reds 3 /LAD 3.. I want a 5 and 3 or 6-2 type Home stand

I wasn't referring to our Win/Loss record....just our offensive output.

Hasn't improved since Tatis returned is all I was saying.
