Funny thing Is that they are the ones acting like cry babies because the Padres didn't sell tickets to people living in the LA region. 🤦
Not the first time they've done it and their fans prove it's the right decision time and time again.

Quote from Randy Manese on October 6, 2024, 10:23 pmKing has said he gets a boost from the big crowds in San Diego so I expect he'll do very well on Tuesday and we'll lock up our second win. Padres had a chance to win in Buehler's last start, but Musgrove was left in one batter too many and Tanner Scott had a bad game. As I recall watching that game, Buehler was not that impressive but Padres were 0-10 with runners in scoring position; got to cash in those men on base to beat LA because they can score runs in bunches.
As for Wednesday, don't think Cease will start with only 3 days rest even if it is to clinch the NLDS. Perez could very well be the opener for Game #4 and the Dodgers did not face him all year. He pitches better at home than on the road and has some success getting ground balls from LHB, so hopefully he'll keep the ball in the park against power hitters Ohtani, Freeman and Muncy. If Perez can get through the Dodger line-up at least once, it's a bullpen matchup game after that, saving our LHPs for whenever Ohtani is likely to come up. We'll need our bats to come alive in timely situations and if they do, I think we're looking at clinching the NLDS on Wednesday! GO PADRES!

IF we win game 3

Quote from MrPadre19 on October 7, 2024, 10:40 amOK,So if King goes game 3 and Perez game 4,and there is a game 5....who do we start?
Cease on an extra days rest of Darvish on regular rest?
Considering the results of the first two games I'm not so sure.
Maybe start Cease and let him go through the lineup one time and then bring in Yu?
Or would we actually be thinking about holding Yu for the 1st game of the NLCS?

Quote from Randy Manese on October 7, 2024, 11:11 amNot to worry...one game at a time. Enjoy each and every one of them. In my futuristic mind, however, I see Cease starting Game #1 of the NL playoffs and Yu starting Game #2. In this next series, the good Cease will emerge and Yu will have that little bit of extra rest to ramp up against whoever is our opponent.

Quote from Jeremy Hill on October 7, 2024, 9:48 pmManny lightly tosses a ball that was taken out of play towards the Dodgers dugout for the ball boy to retrieve and Dave Roberts is acting like he launched it at his face. Every time I think my opinion of him can't get any lower he finds a way. Watching Dodger's fans play victim while the rest of the baseball world clowns them is pretty funny.
