Solano to Higgy, nice play in a very difficult spot!  It is only the bottom of the 4th and I'm already almost emotionally exhausted.  Go Pads!  Beat L.A.!

Damn, I thought Merrill was going to get that ball. @$@#$%

Damnit!  Even though that is a tough play, with the year Merrill has had, you almost expect him to make that play.  I wonder if he could have caught it if he dove for it.  Go Pads!  Beat L.A.!

Adam is the first pitcher in this game to shut the Dodgers down 1-2-3. I hope Schildt keeps him in another inning or two.

Why does Manny always swing at those pitched that are a mile outside the strike zone.

Padres need to win tomorrow.

Manny swung at like 8 balls his last two Abs, very very impatient.

Well we lost game 1 last time too. Let's hope they respond the same way this time around.

Just didn't seem like our night.  The Dog-ers had multiple broken bat & bloop hits plus the one that hit the mound and ricocheted away from Bogey, Lux makes a diving catch to save runs, Merrill doesn't dive to make a catch and the Dog-ers retake the lead and didn't give it up.  Even our gold glove 3B, the usually reliable Manny Machado made a big 2 base throwing error.  Disappointed in Cease's outing.  If there is a Game 5, hopefully, Cease will be much sharper.  His control was not very sharp, (probably as should have been expected since he hadn't pitched since September 25 or 10 days between starts) throwing only 50 strikes out of 82 pitches and was at only a 40% strike rate starting the 3rd inning.  It seems Cease needs to stay in rhythm and pitch every 5th or 6th day.

The only really bad signs were that the Pads almost always win when they score 4 or more runs and when Manny drives in multiple runs, as happened tonight, but we didn't win.  In fact, the Pads had been 67-8 when scoring 5 more runs, sadly, we are 67-9 now.

Let's bounce back on Sunday!  Need a very solid start from Yu.  Beat L.A.!  Go Pads!

I was expecting a split in LA and sweep in SD. Hopefully, that's exactly how it plays out.

We can only hope, sadly It feels that yesterday was the game they could've should've had, you give your number 1 guy a 3-0 lead before he makes one pitch, he has to deliver.
