This is the series we fans have been waiting for all season and will be one of the Padres biggest NL West showdowns of the regular season. They are fortunate to miss their best pitcher Yamamoto and Kershaw. Gonsolin, who was to pitch in this series was just placed on the IL. The Dodgers now have 13 pitchers, 9 are SP, on the IL, including Roki. The pitching matchups favor the Padres.

No matter their pitching woes. The Dodgers offense always seem to come through. The Padres should not bother with Ohtani. They should just walk him. The Padres need to get their offense going and more hustling to first base. Now would be a real good time. The Dodgers have scored a whopping 108 more runs than the Padres.

The Padres are 20-10 at home and the Dodgers are 16-16 on the road. The Padres are 1 game behind the Dodgers, but have the same amount of losses. Could have been worse.

What's with Tatis? In 2021 he was so good, the opponent couldn't stop him and he hit 42 HR that season. Since then his number have been way down. I wonder why?

Top NL West games: Giants(38-28) at Rockies(12-53), Dbacks(31-34) host Mariners(33-31)

Why so many empty seats?

My Son is there

He’s the one in the yellow ST Padre hat.

🤣

Who the hell does Wil Smith think he is??? Trying to throw out FTJ, with a runner on 3rd and 2 outs?? What a complete MORON!!! Tells his pitcher he has ZERO faith in him being able to get out of that jam. And he short arms it in to CF, putting FTJ on 3rd.

I've seen some stupid plays in MLB and that one certainly sits towards the top of the list.

Pivetta doesn't have it tonight.

Why so many empty seats?

We always seem to have a late arriving crowd. It usually looks half empty at first pitch and then it'll be packed 10 minutes later.

We got kinda screwed on ball 4 to Manny but....

Schildt preaches winning on the fringes. Tonight we lost on the fringes. Bad baseball by the hometeam, against a division rival who really lacks quality pitching.

I noticed the bottom 2 guys in the Dud line-up have wheels! Puts speed on in front of Ohtani, Betts, Freeman....not hard to figure out really. The bottom of our line-up needs serious up-grading.
