So unless we get a cheap,controllable player who is already performing in MLB there is always a chance that none of the return for Miller will ever amount to anything.
For a team that will desperately need pitching the next few seasons it just seems silly to trade your best arm that you literally control for those next 3 years for question marks.....no matter how high they rank in someones system.
IMO trading Miller is a mistake.
We already know he's the best Closer in the game and will be (barring injury) for us for 3 more years.
As we well know there is no guarantee with prospects.
So unless we get a cheap,controllable player who is already performing in MLB there is always a chance that none of the return for Miller will ever amount to anything.
