Fernando Tatis, Jr

PreviousPage 28 of 44Next

Not sure that Tatis did more than a couple of swings off a tee and more were just swinging the bat.

Most reports suggest that the Padres do not want him to be hitting against the force of a ball coming at him. I guess it is the impact of that force on the bat impacting the wrist and as suggested the affect on the healing from swinging in anger or holding up swings.

Small bones … hard to heal … easy to re-injure.

Update: apparently has seen the doctor and got encouraging results. Tatis will begin to hitting off the tee and that will last two weeks … then 10 days of hitting pitches off a pitching machine. If all goes well, then a rehab assignment.

So, maybe at the earliest his return will be around July 26th. However, since that is close to the trade deadline, might be a few days later as Preller tries to make deals but either way looking like (as we have guessed) Aug 1 +/-.

Another month….ugh!

Tatis just got handed an 80- game PED suspension!!!

I just saw something about this….but no details.

You have GOT to be freakin kidding me!

This is the ultimate gut punch!

I keep defending this kid…..about to stop.

I mean….WTF is he thinking?

Who gave it to him?
Why would he even remotely think this was a good idea and worth this risk?

Someone needs to get this kid under control.  Obviously having Daddy being a former player hasn’t done anything in regards to good decision making skills.

The team has way too much money invested in this kid and he needs to get his sh$t together.

Also, get some of that money back.  This may not end well.
