2026 Opening Series: Detroit Tigers at San Diego Padres: March 26-28

Vasquez was outstanding and the BP was solid.
The Padres had a tough time with Tigers last season losing 2 of 3.
The Padre host the Giants next.

Nice to see FTJ up with runners in scoring position!
I love him in the leadoff spot AS LONG AS THERE ARE DECENT HITTERS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LINEUP! Hitting Fermin 8 and Jake 9 works out well.
And the stolen base attempt was a great move! Put pressure on the Tigers to make a play, which turned into an error and a run. I'd really like to see more of that....with everybody( outside of maybe Sheets and Andujar?). No real threats to steal consistently outside of Nando but the other dudes can all run the bases.
