Chicago White Sox at San Diego Padres: May 1-3
Quote from Jeremy Hill on May 2, 2026, 9:50 pmJust got home from the game. What a clunker. Every team goes through bad stretches. Hopefully the boys come out of this one soon. We need our big money bats to get going.
I guess the reports I saw about Canning getting another rehab start were wrong. Stammen announced him as the starter for tomorrow after the game.

Man, that was a brutal game ending to an even more brutal game, and the most brutal series. It seems Ike at least once every year these guys choke against an inferior opponent at home, which ultimately costs them at the end of the year.
Hoping this is just a hiccup but I'm not sure where to look for optimism? A league average group of starters or a bottom 10 offense( who has little to no power and no speed, and certainly no urgency!)?
I'm sure we'll win another game at some point......

The wierd part is that, the NL West has lost 21 games since Monday, good (or bad for that matter) enough for a 4-21 record, accumulating 19 Ls in a row, yikes!
