Wow, an empty Tred to start the season?? No wonder we've tossed up 8 goose eggs.
Clayton Richard and Chase Anderson both pitched a heck of a game today. The Pads are running real short on scoring territory here, but it's been an entertaining first game. Great DPs by Headley and Galvis to start the day!

Since we kept 3 Catchers wouldn’t it have made sense to pinch hit the Lefty Catcher against Jeffress here in the 10th?
Or is Hedges defense more important?

Apparently Margot was “not” looking for the fastball right down the middle with 2 outs and the count 3-1.

Great game to begin the season with. Love our pitching today I'm hoping both Hedges and Renfroe learn to hit eventually. It's only one game. I keep telling myself that.
Man, it's great to see Padres baseball again.

Man, that Brewers bullpen is death. That is a talented group. They throw hard and with tons of movement.

Not sure on Asuaje batting 5th. Like more pop there. Would like him better in two hole with Myers third and Hosmer cleanup and then Pirela and Headley.
Probably doesn't mean jack.
