We're not far from just playing Lockridge in LF full time IMO.
Rather have him hit against Righties then what we've gotten from Heyward.
Lockridges'defense and speed will play even when not hitting.
Or just let Heyward go and bring up Ornelas soon as eligible.
I'm sure we will give Heyward more time.....just not sure we should.

Guessing they give Heyward (and Gurriel) at least 30 days before considering a move.
I think Joe would be the call up no matter who is let go ... Joe can handle LF and is OK vs RHP. Ornelas is a non-proven prospect and not sure the Padres want to take that gamble at the ML level even if he is a LHH while they are positioning for the playoffs.
