An organization that I volunteer with has partnered with The Storm for a fundraising event at the game on May 5th. The organization is called Guide Dogs of America-Tender Loving Canines. They train guide dogs for a large number of people in need and also train service dogs for veterans with PTSD, children with autism, and people suffering from a handful of other conditions. The 5th will be GDA/TLC night at the park. They are going to broadcast a PSA before the game for the organization, someone from the organization, will throw out the first pitch, there will be fundraising activities during the game and we will have a booth setup with volunteers and puppies to try to raise awareness for the organization. Most importantly they will donate a generous portion of any ticket sales made online using the promo code "guide". I hope to see some of you there.
