Verdugo is coming off a bad season, has missed all of spring training and I've seen some reports that he's not a great clubhouse guy. That's enough to make him a pass for me. I think there's a reason his market has been so cold.

Sheets also has an option left so there is some wiggle room for the 26

So, no real issue on the 40 man for adds ... just the 26 man. Iglesias "seems" like a lock ... so the 5 man bench: Diaz; Joe; Sheets (L); Iglesias; plus 1 out of Lockridge, Rosario, Wade, Gonzales, Gurriel. I would go with Lockridge (PR speed, OF defense). Sheets gets LHH DH (about 75% of starts). History shows that few want either Sheets or Hayward up against LHP ... so that is where Joe and Iglesias come in ... maybe Lockridge.

Clearly someone with a good ST is getting left out.

Campusano, Joe, and Iglesias all seem like pretty safe bets. I would probably go with Rosario for the last spot, but you could make a case for a few guys.

Julio did something way worse that Trevor Bauer and Trevor has been blacklisted. Just saying.
