Agreed. Even though Weathers has looked good I thought they over thought last year's draft. Libertore should have been the pick.

Not sure if I had time to mention this on the broadcast, but CJ Abrams has some of the best pure bat-to-ball skills in the class. With more refinement of his approach he has outstanding offensive upside.

Abrams is a legit 80 grade runner. When I've watched him over the last two years the thing that jumps out to me is his ability to barrel up pitches consistently. Rarely does he swing and miss.

He looks like a left handed Hunter Renfroe. I like Abrams a little bit more because, of being a plus defender in CF.
I would be OK with that. Not a lot of LH power in SDs system.

Hope Ornelas helps with that soon. Cordero is also kinda overlooked.

Some over drafts buy Cubs, Brewers and Tampa . Arizona did too but, has a ton of picks so I think they are saving some money for later picks.
