2019 MLB DRAFT
Quote from Brian Connelly on June 4, 2019, 7:10 pmLove how the first 2 days have gone: 3 HS position players w upside including a rare power prospect & a LH college catcher.
Today all College arms to re-populate Tri Cities pen this year & A-Ball levels (maybe a few as SP's) next year.
Pads clearly gunning for some above slot signings tomorrow, with their draft position and picks 7-10 all college Sr... arguably some of the other picks might be below slot too. Even with HS @ 1, 2, 3, No one jumps out as being above slot... I have a hard time believing Abrams needs more than his slot to skip college!
20 HS in MLB.com's top 130 still available, but many likely impossible signings going into day 3

H was suppose to be one of the top left handed pitchers in the draft. After a good showing with team USA this summer. But he had a shoulder strain in the spring and was never 100 percent healthy. Feole has a funky delivery that has a ton of moving parts and throws from high, three-quarter slot. His fastball sit 89- 91 tops at 93. He has a plus curve with a 12-6 bite. He has a good to plus change but does not throw it much. The problem is his delivery it affects his control and will not be a strike-thrower unless he fixes it.

Acosta has raw power with a aggressive approach. He has average speed but has good quickness and lateral movement and instincts to say in CF. He doesn't have a lot of plus tools but he is a gamer that does everything good.

He throws a two seam and four seam fastball it sits at 87-92 top 93. He has a plus breaking ball.

Tall 6'5 pitcher form Texas. His fastball sits at 88-90 tops at 93. He has a good sluvre. The guy is a project player. He has a lot of projection on this body and will throw a lot harder. But went he mature and fill out he could be a really good pitching prospect.
