Could be either a major or minor league player but we have not seen Szczur play in about 4-5 days (I think) ... so ????????

He fills two desperate needs in El Paso: 1) a catcher in case Hedges' back remains an issue and they need to bring Lopez back up; and 2) a LHH 1B to split time with - or perhaps simply replace at some point - Allen Craig. He is not really in the mix for time with the big league club as things currently stand.
