One constant we’ve read about you since the draft is about your work ethic. Where did that come from for you?

Caissie:  It comes from my family. My dad is a blue-collar worker, my mom works extremely hard, too.  Just the drive to be better than my peers and people beside me because in Canada, we’re overlooked, and I had to work probably twice as hard to get looked at. I will admit it’s changing, people are realizing we can play. It’s still a stigma on how we’re just hockey players, but I want to make my family proud, too.
