First of all, thank you for taking the time to check out the new MadFriars.com website. If you were previously unaware, we made the difficult decision to part ways with the longtime home of the site, the Scout.com network, this winter.
On this new site, you’ll continue to find the most comprehensive coverage of the San Diego Padres’ minor league system out there, but our move to become an independent outlet assures that not only will access remain affordable but that the resources brought in will go directly toward providing more on-site coverage of the affiliates.
Existing Subscriptions
Since the announcement and subsequent move was made rather quickly, we realize that some of you have already paid for subscriptions on the scout network. We want to ensure that you continue to have the access to MadFriars you purchased, so there are two options in making that happen:
- Take a snapshot of your email receipt or subscription information and send it to madfriars@gmail.com, so that we can honor that. (if you need help accessing that information, please don’t hesitate to ask.)
- You can try contacting member services for 247 Sports/CBS Digital (Scout.com) at 1-888-508-3055 to request a refund or cancellation for the time remaining on your subscription if that has not occurred. (*If they decline to provide a refund for unused time, please just roll with option 1, and we’ll take care of giving you the access you paid for.)
New Subscriptions & Gift Subscriptions
For those of you who would like to subscribe again to Madfriars.com, the subscription tab on the menu is now fully functional. Presently, we offer a monthly subscription for $4.95 or an annual subscription at just $40.00. Or, if you’d like to purchase a gift subscription for a friend or family member, send us an email at madfriars@gmail.com that includes their name and email, as well as the desired length of the subscription.
Logging-In
In order to login to the madfriars site, you will need to have a free wordpress account. If you do not have one already, you can sign-up by following this link: https://wordpress.com/start/account/user
After you login to the Madfriars site, it will redirect you to login to wordpress if you aren’t currently logged-in. (I would recommend leaving wordpress logged-in on private devices should you wish skip a step.)
Once you’re logged in to wordpress and the site, it will send you to your profile page, providing you access to manage your profile information & subscriptions or visit the madfriars site.
*We are working on a more direct login at this time.
Forum
To post on the forum, you only need to be signed into your wordpress account. It won’t hurt to be logged-in the to MadFriars site,
