They will not have to face Robbie Ray this time as he is a Padres facing his former team this time. The Padres will be facing tough pitching including Webb.
The Padres might gain ground for the top wild card spot with the Phillies playing the Braves

Playing in COL is always tough, although they need to focus on the Giants first. Just keep winning each series and SD will be fine.

Ty France is going on the paternity list. Mason McCoy was recalled. I'm happy for Ty. I just hope we don't miss his bat too much while he's gone.

They take game 1 and win their 5th in a row despite nearly blowing a 6-run lead. Unfortunately, the Dbacks won, too.

Anyone worried that Miller is wearing down?
He's only pitched 6 innings in 18 days, yet given up more hits and runs than early season Miller? Guys are laying off the sliders, making him throw the 4 seamer, which we know ALL MLB hitters catch up to eventually.
Hoping that Adam and Estrada can make it back for October.

I think he's not as sharp because he hasn't been pitching as much. The velocity and movement are still there. His command has been a little off. It's probably hard for him to maintain his mechanics during stretches where he's not pitching as much.
Adam has reportedly been facing hitters in Arizona and could be ready for a rehab assignment soon. Estrada hasn't started throwing again yet. A regular season return seems unlikely for him.

Can someone tell me what the downside of Dustin Harris's game is? I realize he doesn't have any power but is there anything else missing from his game?
I can see he has some speed, apparently plays all over the field, hits from the left( which we seem to ALWAYS need!), and actually puts the ball in play.
