PreviousPage 4 of 5Next

Padres need to take the Rubber match.

KEEP THE FAITH!

GO PADRES!

It was good to have Jackson Merril back. He picked up where he left of going 2 for 4 and up to .390 BA.

Merrill activated ... Campusano optioned.

Campy had his chance vs 3 LHP ... did not deliver.

So RH DH is now a rotation of Tatis/Manny/X with Iglesias getting some?

They could go with Lockridge in LF and let Gonzalez DH vs LHP. At least until they may a call on who gets optioned when Cronenworth returns.

Game 3 Lineup
1. Tatis RF
2. Arraez 1B
3. Machado 3B
4. Merrill CF
5. Bogaerts SS
6. Sheets DH
7. Gonzalez LF
8  Iglesias 2B
9. Moldanado C

Cease P

Reynolds activated ... Bergert optioned.

The Padres have had opportunies to score and blew Cease's best start of the season taking a no hitter into the 7th. Merrill continues to be hot and has a .400 avg.

This could be a World Series preview.

The Padres drop 1.5 back of the Dodgers. But this, weekend the Padres play the Rockies, the worst team in MLB, and the Dodgers play the tough DBacks.

KEEP THE FAITH!
GO PADRES!

I don't know about you guys, but do think they had those f.... Yankees two nights in a row, could've opened the game up last night, but Machado had that awful AB to end they 7th with the bases loaded, and tonight, If you tells me that Tatis, Arraez, Machado, Merrill and Bogaerts are gonna bat with a men on 2nd base in the same inning, I'll think at least, at least, a couple of runs in if not more, f... frustrating to be honest 🤦

Really sloppy way end the game.,.all Williams throws is a change up and Tatis, Machado and Boegaerts all go down swinging and Merrill gets hit…gotta give lockridge credit for stealing 3B…oh well …come home and get some home cooking and some wins.

Go Pads!!!

The last two were tough to take….for different reasons.

Ugh!

The Padres would have been at least 1 run ahead going into the bottom of the tenth, had Bogaerts not swung at a very clear ball 4 when the bases were loaded.
