Correct, Tempy is 2nd all-time in Pads hits with 1,135; while Winfield is 3rd with 1,134. So, with good health, Manny should pass both of them to become 2nd all-time in hits with the Pads next season around All-Star Game time or early August.

The Padres did not look good tonight. Hart is no good. Morgan was pitching well and, IMO, should have been kept in longer.
Let's hope the Dodgers lose today.
Padres head home to play the Orioles.

The boys are going to have to be a lot better on the road if they want to get anywhere in the playoffs.
I read that Vasquez and his wife just had a baby which is why Hart was in there today. He could rejoin the rotation in the next few days. I also read that they're going to let King get 1 more sin game or rehab outing before they bring him back. It sounds like he might come back against the Reds. That will make a big difference with the rotation.
