Would love to see Xander finish the cycle...should get 2-3 more AB's and has the 3 toughest already out of the way.
For a guy who has under performed this year it would be a nice achievement.

Bogey is a single away from a cycle!!! And we're only in the 6th.

Harris is currently hitting .377 as a Padre.

The Padres take the series. No more Colorado in the 2026 season. They have won 10 of their last 10 games and pushed the snakes 4 games back.
King was outstanding. I was not so sure about Harris when AJ added him to the roster. But, was a big surprise and a big plus to the lineup.
Padres return home to play the Marlins while the Dbacks battle it out with the Yankees.
If the Padres sweep and the Dbacks get swept then the Padres will clinch a wild card berth.
Bring on the fish.

Edit: is Veen the guy that was drafted the same year we drafted Hassell? If I remember, the pick was highly debated between which kid to pick?
That was a brutal exhibition in RF ... and yes, this is the guy that was comp'd with Hassell III ... both supposed to be good hitters ... hitting is hard ...
