The Padres swept the Braves at Petco last month. Now they are in Atlanta on Braves turf. After a disappointing series in Kansas, the Padres really need to win at least 3 games in this series.

Keep The Faith!
GO PADRES!

Game 3 Lineup

1. Tatis RF

2. Rengifo DH

3. Machado 3B

4. France 1B

5. Merrill CF

6. Campusano C

7. Bogaerts SS

8. Cronenworth 2B

9. Bowen LF

King P

Just bad!

Wasted a good (not great) start by King with zero offense against some lesser SP from ATL.

Peralta just had nothing ... and probably tanked his trade value (if any). Vasquez couldn't stem the tide.

I put the blame on the offense ... if they could put any runs up early and took the lead, then the  RP sequence would have been different with Morejon and Miller closing it out.

The Padres drop to 14.5 games behind the Dodgers, 3 games behind the 2nd place Dbacks and 3 games behind the 3rd wild card spot.

The Padres still can secure a wild card spot if they could just take care of their business and win.
