Does MLB rewatch every game, every AB, to chart the bad calls by the home plate umpires? We obviously can't rely on the rectangle they superimpose on our living room screens, but surely they must track egregious calls, of which there are many every game.
Have they considered rotating the umpires during the game? You have 5 umps, one inside watching all the calls, then rotate out onto the field( inside to home plate, home plate to 1B, 1B to 2B, 2B to 3B, 3B to inside)?
That way you're not getting the same missed calls? Obviously you'll get other missed calls but hell, it couldn't be any worse than it is now.....could it?

Was on the golf course this morning, so didnt even watch the game. So didnt see the pitches you were talking about.
And I will bow out of any more discussions on balls and strikes by umpires.

Maybe the electronic system won’t be good…but “maybe” it will be consistently bad instead of what we have….which no one has any idea what it even is.
It’s different every game and with every Ump.The only thing consistent about balls and strikes is its inconsistency.
You can disagree Booster but that AB with the game on the line for Tatis was just horrible!
Complete garbage by that ump.. they weren't even borderline bad calls.. they were horrendous.. Bo Mel needed to get tossed there..like wtf get physical get suspended at those calls..show some grit.. let Ryan run the team for 10-15 days however long the suspension lasts.. fire the players up...
Team finally showed that never quit attitude today and Yu shits the bed..and BoMel doesn't come out to chew that ump out with these calls on Tatis
