Never heard of Joe Ryan … but looking at his stats for this year … a pretty effective SP … hitters beware.
Beginning to worry a bit about Abrams … RHP and still not starting so that sore bicep most still be an issue. Maybe he (instead of Batten) gets optioned if needed or maybe a backdated IL with Rosario up?

Maybe just Uber cautious cause he is the key piece on a Soto/Othani or even Reynolds trade

If I’m the padres FO, I forbid Melvin from playing Abrams unless a last resort. After Gore’s injury…just sit him unless it’s a pinch hit or punch run opportunity
