Where would we be without Manny? 0-4 with 2 Ks and still might be the player of the game.

So I was not able to see the first few innings….turned it on and heard that we had made two errors already.
Looking at the box score all 5 runs are earned for Gore.
Somehow that doesn’t sound right?
None of the runs were unearned?

6-0 3rd inning.
Long way to go but one of the great things about being 15 games over .500 is one loss doesn’t ruin your (my) weekend.

I was hoping we would win and seize the division lead after the Dodgers lost. Manny just missed on a few balls that would've made it interesting. Hopefully Gore bounces back strongly next time out and Snell gets on track today.

Snell is on for the first time in a long time.
Economical even……let’s not blow it by not being able to score.
Through 3 he has 5 k’s and only 35 pitches.

We must have wasted all our hits Friday night.

Yes, bad offense in the last three games. Not exactly the awe inspiring way to play a bad team. Really should have taken 3 of 4 from the Rox.

Biggest complaint was Crismatt not pitching the 8th inning after a 10 pitch 7th.

Agreed!
Not like he's been used a lot lately either.
Such a disappointment after taking the first 2. We're really not a strong home team, for as good a team as we have, we need to figure out how to take advantage of Petco.

To be fair Hosmer hit an absolute rocket that took a solid defensive play in CF to become a SF.. that ball goes over his head and is at least 2 and 3 ..with Manny in from 3rd.. and one out and likely get 1 or 2 more.... Garcia had bad luck if he fields that ball a little more balanced or takes a little longer to set and throw ..he gets out of the inning with no damage... just one of those games where the Rockies bloop bloop bloop their way to 4 runs and we get robbed of a HR and hit lazers for outs.. I bet our avg exit velo last night was like 95 and Rox like 85.. yet we lose .. But it's Go Time...Lets Go Padres!
