Well, with the way that Gore has pitched the last two times, and Snell's unpredictable performances, I guess the best we can plan on at this time is a split.
Especially if Machado is still out, or not at 100% and being the DH.

At least the Duds dont have a cake walk this weekend, as they are in the ATL.

Need to Win 2 to win the season series so we can win the tie breaker for postseason

Braves 4-3
Brewers 4-3
Pittsburgh 4-2
Cubs 5-2
St Louis down 0-3
Phillies up 2-1
Reds (no need to worry but 6-0 baby)
Mets up 2-1
We are also up on Miami and within Division up on AZ 6-1.. SF not sure if it's 2-1 or 4-2 off the top of my head.

We are 4-2 head to head with SF at this time in the season.

So important to win these season series vs potential playoff teams.. it sort of gives us a +1 in the standings permanently so if we tie the Braves for example we beat them to a spot with us having won the season series...ditto everyone else

Be had a no hitter to the 5th.. I think not pitching in 10 days got to him... no biggie...lets chip chip chip away..

Nola got the big hit off his brother. He is starting to heat up. His slash line is up to .289/.389/.400 for the month. It still seems like he's been unlucky too. He crushed a ball for a lineout in the first game and Bohm made a diving stop on a hard hit grounder before the big knock last night.
The offense as a whole has been really good in June. They are second in runs scored at 135 for the month. Their .778 OPS is good for 5th.
