Padres vs Giants March 28-31

PreviousPage 3 of 3

Profar!!!

Higashioka looks terrible at the dish. Really slow hands to the ball. Hopefully he loosens up as the San Diego warms up( man, SD weather is, dare I say, HORRIBLE lately???)

I guess Pauley’s 3 run HR in garbage time yesterday earned him a start at 3B today (Wade not starting).

King is starting.

I suppose it technically was mental garbage time, but he homered of the same guy he'd have been facing had the Padres been down 1 instead of down 6. I think that's worth noting at least.

Well they've taken the intrigue out of this one early. Nice to see them take it to a guy like Jefferies. They have struggled against fringe starters like him too often in recent years.

Am I tripping or did the entire ballpark miss the fact that Merrill's fly ball hit the wall in foul territory before Conforto caught it?

This is what I thought at first … but looked like a good catch in the slower reply an inning later.

Yeah at first glance and even after the first replay I thought it got the wall. I saw a different angle later and it looked like a clean catch.
