Page 1 of 5Next

Game 1 Monday August 8th 6:40pm PST

SD Blake Snell LHP vs SF Alex Wood LHP

Game 2 Tuesday August 9th 6:40pm PST

SD Joe Musgrove RHP vs SF Alex Cobb RHP

Game 3 Wednesday August 10th 1:10pm PST

SD Sean Manaea LHP vs SF Jakob Junis RHP

Hopefully Musgrove and Manaea find their game, cuz its go time.

Clevinger seems to roll along fine and then give up that ONE big hit that scores 3 that kills his outing.

Usually that means we lose cause we still can't score so.......

It's Go Time!

Was under the impression we fixed our offense issues.

How do you add Soto/Bell/Drury and get worse?

If Machado can’t run from home to 2nd maybe he needs to take a week off his ankle and get right?

At what point do the Padres show the hitting coach the door ?

Clearly whatever he is doing or not doing or saying or not saying has produced ZERO results.

Nobody and I mean nobody in the press has called this guy into question.....Do the Padres even have a hitting coach because based on the total lack of production you have to wonder ?

Average, Power, Advancing Runners, On Base Percentage are somewhere between slim  and none and slim has already left the building

The current Padres lineup has 8 of the 9 starters putting up above average offensive numbers by OPS+. That seems to be one of the best stats to measure total offensive output. Hard to blame the hitting coach for that.

They just seem to have shut off after the all-star break. Lacking motivation. Someone needs to light a fire under them. Manny, I'm looking at you.

It’s almost like they’re waiting for Tatis to return to ignite the offense.

We can’t wait that long…..

Musgrove has over his past four starts posted a 7.29 ERA, allowing 17 runs in 21 innings.

I hope he turns it around tonight or we might have a Musgrove problem . Of course it won't matter if we don't score any runs .
