With regard to the earlier question of what happened to Steve Wilson, I believe the Padres are still trying to determine which of the relievers can go back to back and which need at least a day in-between.  From what I've seen and heard from the Padres' announcers, the times Wilson has been less effective is when he has to go back to back so as the season goes on less likely to see him in that role unless there is no other choice.

The same determination is happening down in the minors.  Castillo recently went back to back and I believe Baez did also.  Both have been very good and could return soon now that we've weeded out Hill and Lamet.

Hill is on there 15 day Injured List and could possibly move to the 60 day if the injury is serious and/or they need his 40-man roster spot for someone else. By the way, Hill has 2 options remaining had he not ended up on the IL.

Philly played LA tough. Hopefully, they're out of gas for us.

Both teams had to travel to Philly over the weekend, but at least the Padres were in the same time zone.  It could be there might be a slight psychological letdown versus the overachieving Padres vice the huge payroll all-star Dodgers roster.  We'll see how our rehab'd pitchers do against their homer hitting line-up - I'm hoping we match them power for power in this series.
