Who starts game 2 for the Pads, Avila? Does Groome finally get a shot? I doubt it is either Weathers or Wolf. What do you guys think?

Wolf pitched on Saturday and Groome went yesterday, so it won't be either of them. Waldron and Weathers are on track. I would lean Weathers just because I don't know that the knuckleball will play very well at Coors which would limit Waldron's arsenal. The wildcard could be AJ picking up a starter today.

IF Lugo has a strong start and the pen is not taxed tonight ... could see a bullpen game with Avila / Honeywell getting the bulk of the early innings.

Sure is starting out as a game driven by the 2+ hour delay and a wet night.
Pitchers are going right after the hitters ... hitters are not waiting round and swinging ... ump has a "generous" strike zone ... game zipping along (albeit no action).
