With the pitching match ups, and the last two guys we have going in this series. I think SD will be lucky to go 2-2 in COL.

Do not like Waldron or Vasquez in the altitude. Only hope is that we out slug COL, which is hard to do in COL.

Manny was put on the paternity list. Congratulations to him and Yainee.

Batten up to fill in

Great effort by Cease today, 7 IP and 1 ER with no walks and 8 Ks in COL is fantastic.

De Los Santos and Suarez with a great effort to finish up the game as well.

1 run in Coors Field is awesome.

Offense a different story though.

Yeah, we've pretty much got nothing from the leadoff( see: Bogaerts) and 5( see: Kim) holes so far.

Once Schildty moves Bogaerts( as he has with Kim), those spots should improve.

Plus, can't imagine both Kim and Bogaerts scuffling along too much longer at their current paces.

Getting production from Profar,  Campusano,  and Merrill has been a godsend!

I think the team is in a good position based on how disjointed the offense has been.

That double definitely looked like a foul ball to me. Good job by King to limit the damage to 1 run.

Waldron is dealing tonight!

The knuckleball was dancing. It was interesting hearing them talk about how he was feeling good before the game because he likes pitching where it's cool and dry. I would have thought life would be harder for a knuckleballer pitching at Coors.

I benched Waldron on one of my fantasy teams expecting the worst at Coors.....so my fault!

lol

We gotta get the win today also cause the schedule gets really tough the next few weeks.

Other than this series it sure seems like we've been playing playoff teams all season and it doesn't get any better soon.

Plus we've played 4-5 games more than some teams....like the Braves.

Will be good to get some days off and some easier games later next month.
