I loved seeing Shildt go to Suarez against the heart of the lineup in the 8th. Use your best arm to get the toughest outs. Estrada is nasty and seems to be moving up the pecking order. Waldron pitched the best game of his career. He's had 2 good starts in a row after making some adjustments. Hopefully he can keep it up. He's certainly earned a bit more leash. All in all it was a nice bounce back win to start this long stretch of consecutive games off.

Great effort!

Ace pitching from Darvish. Timely hitting by....just about everyone! No defensive miscues, AND solid base running.

Team win.

Our starting pitching has just been off the charts good the last few weeks.

2 stinkers in a row from Cease.

Hopefully just a mechanical issue.

Manny F**KING Machado!!!!

'Bout time he showed up.

Excellent victory!

Now let's take game 2!

Sad to see Bogaerts go down just as he was starting to heat up. What a win though.

How did Bogaerts injury look? Any word yet on severity?

Who's next on the shuttle from El Paso? Peralta? Rosario? Batten?

From what I've read they had imaging done and it came back negative. The shoulder is stable and he has some range of motion. I think that's just about best case scenario.
