Time for our first sweep of the season!
Reds aren't scoring runs off these guys and our bats have been slumbering too long......

We have just come off two tough series with SF and defending WS Champions ATL, and this weekend is against the LADs. The last two seasons, IMO, this is the type of series that SD would let down, and instead of sweeping or taking two of three, the would get swept or win only one.
This type of series, IMO, is what Melvin was brought in for. Keep focus on the current series and take care of business!

I just wrote about how this feels like the start of a key early season stretch on my substack. The Giants and Dodgers are both 7-2. We have 9 of our next 12 against the Reds and Pirates. The Reds have the worst record in baseball and have lost 6 straight with the last 4 coming against the Dodgers. If we're going to keep pace in the NL West we need to beat up on bad teams in the same manner. I'm hoping to see an 8-4 or better run.

Manaea really needs a new glove.
I can’t say it’s hurting his pitching but that green is hurting my eyes.
Maybe he’s superstitious and if that’s the case,keep it until you shouldn’t,but otherwise……brown is fine Sean.

I hope some of Manaea rubs off on Snell when he gets back. He just attacks hitters. I like watching him pitch.
