Darren Balsley - guru?
Quote from LynchMob on July 11, 2018, 10:40 amWhat's the best web site to see pitch data for a pitcher?
I want to see what Lauer's mph has been for each of his starts ... was it really 90ish previously and 94/95 last night?

Fangraphs does have a start by start graph with the "average" and high / lows .... stepping back you can see a clear increase in average and peak velocities while the bottom of the ranges are higher. For the 15 starts they have him averaging about 91MPH.

This article was from June 16th ... so you didn't miss it this morning 🙂
I was just wondering how Lauer could go from looking so mediocre to so good ... and googled for info/news about Balsley ... who seems to have had many success stories ... we (Padres and Padres' fans) are lucky to have him!

Over a decade ago, Johnny Washington was a struggling minor-leaguer when his manager predicted another path for him. Now, he is one of the youngest hitting coaches in the majors: https://t.co/lFImEOjSGH
