All Star Rosters - 2021

Everybody knew that Fernando Tatis Jr will be starting but the reserves and pitchers got named....My boy Jake Cronenworth got named as a reserve and it is so well deserved.....Congrats Jake !!!
Yu Darvish and Mark Malancon got named to the pitching staff as well.......All of these guys deserved it and it will be nice to see the Padres represented well in Colorado

You could argue Manny should have made it but the D Backs had to have a Rep and Escobar was it.
Looks like Dave Roberts is more worried about his pitchers resting than rewarding them as all stars.
I have no issue with guys making the All Stars and not getting complete rest because they still get plenty of rest.
They only play a few innings in 4+ days....and Pitchers usually only go 1 inning in those 4+ days.
It's still rest for them and an honor.

The field for the home run derby is now filled. While its disappointing that Tatis will not be in the derby, its nice to see that he has the team first considering his shoulder this season.
Now go reward yourself Tatis with a MVP award and a WS ring!
