El Paso has a solid team with man of the position players doing well in ST like Samad Taylor, Jose Miranda, Jase Bowen, Carlos Rodriguez and Rodolfo Duran.  Song, in his rehab assignment, has both hit and fielded well playing 1 game at 2b and the other at DH.  Team should score a lot of runs.

Waldron had a good start but McKenzie continues to show a lack of command, even at relatively low altitude Sacramento.  Adam looked ready to contribute and will likely be activated as soon as he is eligible.  With multiple arms in the bullpen, few have options so Rodriguez might be the guy sent down unless Marinaccio can't show more than he did in his first game - we should know by mid-April how the bullpen is evolving.

In that vein, EP has Sears, McKenzie, Gonzalez, and ??? as SP and not sure the opts outs involved ... not great so maybe the Padres opt to keep a "SP" on the ML roster as the long relief/spot starter ... and that in turn creates different DFA choices out of the pen.

April will be interesting.

How/why did that guy fall off a cliff?  At one point, obviously, he was a hitter!
