Best available college pitcher or best SS/CF?( I say SS because they're generally your best athletes and can really move anywhere)

Picking 15th … Preller will go with the highest upside with a HS player.

What do you guys think happens with Kumar Rocker in the next Draft?

How far will he fall?

Second half of the First round?

Sort of depends on how good Boras is in convincing a team Rocker is healthy (Mets had concern with his arm) and willing to pay his salary demand.

Boras has history of sending players to INDY ball to establish value and there is that alternative of playing in Japan or Korea. One would think his value would drop if he does nothing but show medical and do a showcase just before the draft.

Rocker is 22 and that probably does not help. Injury, inactivity, age 22 … and Boras pushing for a big deal … is not a good mix and could allow him to slide out of the first round (unless he will take an under slot deal … unlikely with Boras).

I'd take a chance on him with our 2nd round pick.

Anyone see the performance from  Landon Sims this weekend?

Wow!

Probably gone by the time we pick but believe it or not he was out dueled by his opponent from Long Beach State.

Luis Ramirez was even better!

Dude was unhittable….literally….for 6 innings and MSU has a great offense.
