Oddsmakers validate Padres as composed are "right there" with LAD when healthy. Teams not listed are 40-1 & worse... for now

That is good. What is interesting is in the NL:
LAD ... 4 1/2 : 1
SD .... 8 : 1
ATL .... 12 : 1
CUBS ... 25 : 1
NYM, STL, WASH .... 33 : 1
A pretty big betting drop after the first 3. If the reality followed the odds makers ... Padres would play the Wild Card play-in and face the LAD in the first round then the ATL / CUBS winner for the NL championship. (assuming returning to the 5 team playoff structure).
