Prospect Watch: El Paso produced seven extra-base hits to win on the road in Oklahoma’s capital … Shortstop Matthew Batten had a pair of hits out of the leadoff spot, including a triple. Batten also contributed on the basepaths with his team-leading 27th stolen base. The versatile Batten has been a sparkplug all season, playing all over the field defensively and providing value at the plate. He leads the squad with 68 runs scored. With two games left in the season, Batten’s Triple-A average stands at .299. … Infielder Gosuke Katoh also used a pair of hits – including a double – to also raise his average to .299 with El Paso. The former second-rounder has produced a solid .851 in the Triple-A West league this season, his first in the Padres’ system. Katoh will be eligible for free agency again this winter unless the Padres add him to the 40-man roster. … RHP Adrian Martinez earned his first career Triple-A win with another solid start. Martinez scattered five hits in five innings of work and allowed just two runs, walking one and striking out three. The 24-year-old has pitched well with the Chihuahuas after a pair of rough starts to start his El Paso tenure. Since the beginning of September, Martinez has pitched to a 3.30 ERA in six starts. He will be Rule 5 eligible this winter and seems like a good bet to be added to the off-season roster. … RHP Steven Wilson finished off the Dodgers with a scoreless ninth, striking out one. The 27-year-old righty turned in his third consecutive scoreless outing as he finishes off another solid campaign. The former Santa Clara hurler has a 3.43 ERA in 39.1 Triple-A innings.
