Man that place was LOUD...I've been to a ton of games over the years but last night might have been the loudest I've ever heard at Petco. Last night is why baseball is the best game in the world...up by five in the top of the 9th...down by one in the bottom of the 9th....Profar continues to have a magical season and ties it with a ding and my wife says to me..."Extra Innings" and I looked at her and said to her and the guy behind us..."B*** S***...these guys are going to win it right here"...Jake works a very tough walk and I started to laugh when my wife, who is convinced that Manny makes too much money and every time he strikes out he owes her a check and I said to her..."get your checkbook out because he is going to win it right here"...the guy behind us says "I'll take some of that action" and lo and behold...Manny launched one...game over and the other guy and my wife are screaming and yelling at me..." you called it " and I'm laughing and just said "It's baseball".
That was so cool...what a win for the boys

Looks like Manny F**king Machado is back!
Wow! What a result. As another poster said previously, last year's team fold. Not this group.

It's the first time in MLB history 4 different players accomplished those 4 feats in the same inning of the same game.

That is exactly why baseball is the best game in the world…nobody and I mean nobody could have predicted that whole scenario…hell…even writers in Hollywood couldn’t write that script. I said it a few days ago…last year this team would have folded under Melvin but this team is a different breed of cat for Mike Shildt and they play every out until there are no outs left.
Gotta love it ⚾️

Kim and Higgy really had a couple of awful ABs right there, that guy was all over the place, they just had take a few of those pitched and it was either a wall or something down the middle, now I have no idea what Cease are we getting tomorrow, removing one start he has been really bad lately 🙁

The inability to close it out yesterday comes back to bite us today. It could have been a different game with Suarez available.
