We're up early. The Blue Jays are up 8 on the Phillies in the 9th and Rogers just walked the bases loaded and gave up a grand slam to give the Mets a 7-4 lead over the Brewers.

I’m not a big “if” guy but the current scores of the teams involved for the wildcard sure do look good for our Padres

Padres looking good against Wainright and the Gods help out the Padres with losses by both the Brewers and Phillies…Clevinger with run support and pitching well. Gotta imagine this is his last inning considering pitch count getting up there and 3rd time through

In a 1 run game the Shift has given the Cardinals their only two hits in the game and threaten to get them their first run.
If this we’re 2023 it’s still a no hitter going into the 8th.

Well I guess we can talk about it now. That might be the best Snell has ever been with the Padres. Now if we could just come up with another run or 2.

What a game.. what a performance by Snell and what an absolute GG play by Soto.. Soto's Defense as a Padre defies his defensive metrics and reputation as a Nat..he has been terrific as a Padre...
